We are looking for a motivated Analytics Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights, empowering cross-functional teams to make informed decisions and drive meaningful change in patient care.
The Analytics Engineer at OKKO Health is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines that serve as the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This role focuses on pulling data from source systems and transforming this into well-structured, accessible datasets and applying best practices in data modeling and engineering to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance. Alongside this, the Analytics Engineer will collaborate closely with the Data team and the wider OKKO team to understand data requirements, determine effective reporting methods, and ensure that insights can be generated cross-functionally. This role empowers the organisation to use data in meaningful ways, driving operational efficiency and strategic gains through data.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools like Airbyte, Amazon DMS, and Dagster.
Transform data for analysis, using dbt on Redshift and orchestrating workflows.
Monitor data quality, automate alerts, and perform data testing.
Support data access and security measures, including encryption and permissions.
Conduct data aggregation and visualisation, aiding statistical analysis.
Assist in evaluating new technologies or product features through user engagement and behaviour analytics.
Essential
2+ years in Analytics/Data Engineering with SQL and Python proficiency.
Experience with dbt and data modelling for cloud data warehousing.
Practical experience with Dagster or similar orchestration tools.
Proficiency in data visualisation with BI tools (e.g., Quicksight).
Demonstrated experience with Git.
Desirable
Product/user analytics experience.
Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
Experience deploying workloads on AWS using containerisation services such as Docker and ECS.
Familiarity with CI/CD using tools like GitHub Actions.
Background in start-up, healthcare or regulated settings.
Experience using Agile delivery frameworks and application of these within tools such as Jira
